Connecticut is one of the most expensive states to live in — and Hartford keeps adding to the bill. Every spending vote is a tax hike on families in Chester, Deep River, Essex, and Haddam. Guy will oppose new spending and fight to cut the burden on working and middle-class families who are being priced out of the state they love.

Hartford is overriding your town. Solar panels forced onto historic districts. Zoning mandates that ignore local character. State bureaucrats who think they know better than the people of Essex, Chester, and Haddam. Guy will push back — and restore the right of our towns to govern themselves.

Parents — not the state — make decisions about their children's health, education, and upbringing. Full stop.
