Hi, I'm
I'm a young father raising my family right here in the 36th district. I feel the same pressures you feel — the rising taxes, the state mandates that override our towns, the Hartford decisions that treat us like afterthoughts.
I'm running because our families deserve better.
I want to tell you why I'm running — not in campaign speak, but the way I'd say it to a neighbor at the kitchen table.
I'm a young father. I'm raising my children right here in the 36th district, and every day I see the consequences of decisions made in Hartford by people who don't live our life. The property taxes that make it harder for young families to stay. The state mandates that override what our town boards decide. The bureaucratic layers that tell farmers, homeowners, and parents what they can and can't do on their own land — in their own homes — with their own children.
I have skin in the game. This isn't abstract politics to me. The future of this district belongs to the families who are investing in it right now — and those families deserve a representative who lives what they live, not one who shows up 100% of the time to vote for Hartford's agenda and 0% of the time for theirs.
I believe deeply in local control. Chester knows what's best for Chester. Essex knows its historic character. Deep River's working families know what they need. Haddam's farmers know their land. I'm running to make sure Hartford listens — and if it won't, to make it.
I hope you'll join me.
These aren't talking points. They're the real concerns I hear from parents, homeowners, small business owners, and neighbors across all four towns. They'll be my priorities from day one.
Every vote I cast will be for the families of Chester, Deep River, Essex, and Haddam. Not for Hartford's caucus. Not for special interest groups. For the people I know, the people I live alongside, and the people whose children will grow up in this district alongside mine.
This campaign is built on neighbors helping neighbors. Here are three ways you can make a difference right now in Chester, Deep River, Essex, or Haddam.
Every contribution — large or small — funds canvassing, outreach, and events across Chester, Deep River, Essex, and Haddam. This is a grassroots campaign, and it runs on community support.
Paid for and authorized by the Guy Tuccero for State Representative Committee.
Contributions are not tax-deductible. Connecticut residents only.
