I've been teaching piano on the Connecticut shoreline since 2010, almost entirely in students' own homes. My training is classical, but my teaching isn't strict — I've found that the students who stay with it are the ones who get to play music they love while they build real skill.

Yes — one studio recital each June. It's low-pressure and entirely optional, but nearly everyone plays, and it gives students a real goal to work toward.
